For the activation of the abandoned public staircase/ passage that leads to Danube, a broken street lamp from Athens has been transferred, repaired and installed in the space. The familiar element of the streets reactivates the public space, lighting up ‘Die Stiege’ as a passage. Every evening the light turns on in Athenian time, an hour before the sunset in Ulm.
